Biography

Melissa D’Agostino is an award-winning actor, singer, writer and producer. Constantly pushing the boundaries of performance, Melissa has been called “a standout” (NOW Magazine) and “hilarious” (EYE Magazine) for her unique performance work.
Melissa studied Acting and Musical Theatre at the University of Windsor, graduating with a BFA Honors in Acting, and has gone on to make her mark on the stage. Past productions include: Apricots (Quiptake), Mambo Italiano (Bellweather Theatre) Vox Animae (Young Centre) The Maddest Kind of Love (Dreamers Take Your Mark Productions), Downtown (The Question Company), Innana (tiny bird theatre), and In Translation (Nightwood Theatre). Melissa was a member of the BASH Artists Group at the Canadian Stage Company in 2009, and recently directed Adam Lazarus’ one-man tour de force Wonderland for the acclaimed Summerworks Festival.
In addition to writing and performing, Melissa has worked as an instructor/mentor for the AMY Project, the Paprika Festival, Children’s Peace Theatre, Canadian Stage, Theatre Revolve, and the Royal Conservatory of Music.
